Profesorka Dějin a kultur Asie a Afriky (od roku 2023) a ředitelka Ústavu starého Předního východu na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy (od roku 2022), specializující se na asyriologii a egyptologii. Její výzkum se primárně zaměřuje na politické, sociální a ekonomické dějiny Předního východu a Egypta ve druhém tisíciletí př. n. l., starověké právo a diplomacii a vztahy mezi těmito dvěma regiony. V současnosti se věnuje zkoumání materiality písemných dokumentů (zejména klínopisných tabulek), nelingvistickým aspektům klínového písma v době bronzové a železné a archeologii textů.

 

Je autorkou a editorkou řady článků a monografií, včetně Language of Amarna – Language of Diplomacy: Perspectives on the Amarna Letters (2007) a série Crossroads (vydáno v letech 2011, 2015, 2019, další svazek bude vydán v roce 2024). Od roku 2021 je spolueditorkou časopisu Bulletin of ASOR.

 

  1. Mynářová získala magisterský titul v oboru klínopis a egyptologie (2000) a doktorský titul v oboru Filologie – Jazyky zemí Asie a Afriky na Univerzitě Karlově (2004). V letech 2001 až 2021 byla spjata s Českým egyptologickým ústavem na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy (docentka od roku 2015) a v roce 2022 nastoupila do Ústavu starého Předního východu (dříve Ústav srovnávací jazykovědy). Od roku 2023 je hostující vědeckou pracovnicí na Department of Ancient Near Eastern Studies na Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.
